repaired mine done half a wipe of the rear screen and then packed up,scratched head for a bit un plugged it then plugged it back in and it has worked ever since |

Very oddly - exactly the same experience, took it off, refitted it and the motor fired back into life! Sadly still leaking even with the new washer so new motor ordered…. 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE |

When I did mine the first set of screws I used sat slightly too high and jammed the mechanism on reasembly. Might be worth checking yours as you mentioned it was tight when you reassembled too. Smaller headed screws sorted it. 2012 Westminster TDV8 4.4 Indus Silver
