Very strange thing but someone stole our number plates last night. Front and rear had been unscrewed and removed.

So long as you informed the police, thats the main thing. It maybe worth calling the dvla just to let them know as well.

But I don't understand why you would steal distinctive plates, rather than an anonymous normal plate.

Well after hearing that low life scum in England ( you can't call it Great Britain any more) are looting homes that have been flooded, the fact that some tw!t has stolen number plates does not surprise me in the least! |

The VRM on the plates is irrelevant.

An hour? That's good. At least police turned up! Some (if not all now) forces won't normally attend Theft From Motor Vehicle incidents these days unless there's something for CSI to obtain( blood, saliva, fingerprints/ DNA from tools left behind) I know my force don't as resources are stretched to breaking point. Not right I know, but that's the reality. |

Okay, I was a bit harsh on the police. An hour is not too bad, and they were polite. *Gone* Discovery3 HSE
