3 of my front parking sensors have suddenly stopped working.
The far near side sensor is operational and beeping as normal – but the rest do not cause a beep when approaching an obstacle.

I have checked and confirmed all the front sensors are making a ‘ticking’ sound.
There is no error warning sound/flashing light when activating the PDC.

I disconnected the parking ECU for an hour and reconnected it with the vain hope it would reset something/anything…..but made no difference.

Wiring fault or new parking ECU needed???

Any thoughts on this at all??

I have searched other posts relating to the PDC system but all seem to relate to either the sensors failing completely at one end or one or more failing and a solid error beep sounding.

normally if the sensor clicks then it should beep when there's an object in its way, why yours is doing one and not the other i dont know....
maybe dry out the sensor as much as possible [hairdryer?]
check out the wiring, maybe one crucial wire is broken?
complete battery disconnection..

Which one is working? Is it one of the end ones by any chance? If so I suspect a break in the wiring after the one which is working. Might be worth buzzing the cables through.

Yes far nearside one is working normally....when it stops raining I will take bumper off and check out the wiring.
