England 2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver
First 12 days of ownership

Since collecting 12 days ago I have now completed the following:

Digital TV installed and working
Recon and updated Bluetooth Module (thanks to Wiggs)
Wind deflectors fitted to windows
Replace chrome vents with grey supercharged units
Replaced CD multichanger magazine
Custom sunblinds for all windows from the front back
LED headlights fitted (not yet wired as waiting for a set with adaptive turning lights to be converted
Wood trim fitted to rear seat heater controls and around heater controls (fitted wood to match existing trip but will probably have most of it dipped in black, except around the heater controls, gear surround and cupholder which I will probably have done in silver to match the airvents, horn buttons etc.
Supercharged clear rear lights fitted
Black LT badge of tailgate and steering wheel
Couple of missing clips fitted back in the boot
New 20" FFRR wheels thanks to a great deal with Gazellio @ Prestige Cars to replace the CRRS wheels that were fitted when I got it

and filled with unleaded fuel several times and covered about 900 miles.

In the process of:
updating all white bulbs to LEDs (not bothering with indicators or rear lights)

Still have to:
Fit replacement camera sourced from Dan
Fit water shedder in case of water leaks
Fit and wire adaptive headlights with DRLs when received back
Work out how to wire in my Pure DAB so that I can listen to my ipod without having to keep getting it out of the centre console to change tracks
Source colour coded handle and mirror covers to replace the chrome one currently fitted (out of stock at all suppliers I have found so far)
Remove exhaust tips
Stop rear wiper thudding
Remove chrome V8 & GB badges from the boot
Possibly change grey badges and boot strip for silver ones
Replace handle that is used to lift the boot floor
Sort out scratches on seats (dye ordered to test on minor scratches before seeing if full treatment of all is worthwhile)
2012 Facelift???? Maybe!!

Will probably find more jobs to do as well.

Loving the FFRR in general and especially the V8. Buisness Partner now looking to buy one as well buut he wants a diesel and lower mileage.

Tried to add a couple of photos but keep getting "Error uploading to gallery" There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

Good to meet you today. Buy under coated Half Mirror covers from Dan and get painted. Door handle covers may have to be ordered in a popular colour and painted. Get the Titan Silver lettering Thumbs Up

PD: My advice would be to keep the interior trim as stock looking as possible. If dipping trim to Piano then do all bits that where wood trimto Piano and the brunel can be repainted brunel (or piano).

Quite a list Rej... Busy chap!

Addictive cars though?

Re the exhaust tips... might show my ignorance here... we've got the SC which has original chrome tailpipes either side of the car and those don't detach/ they're effectively welded on (my words) to the actual exhaust. If it's just for cleaning them, there are a number of ways to get good shiny results Thumbs Up

My exhaust tips are not actually connected to the exhaust!! Just bolted to the rear frame. I think they are Powerfuluk items buut not really my thing.

Re the interior at the moment I am going to leave all the wood as wood but will probably get it painted/dipped in piano black as suggested. I have a spare set of trim for the heater surrounds, gear box surround and cup holder which I think I will try to have done in a stainless steel / brush aluminium to try and lighten up the middle of the car but I will still have the option of putting the originals back for resale of if I just don't like the effect.

Gary thanks for the tip about the unpainted mirror covers, I will look in to this if the ready painted ones stay unavailable when I find the door handles.

One thing I have noticed reading the manual, is there meant to be a drawer under the passenger seat and a first aid kit, or were these options? There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t

I got them from EBay but they are from Powerfuluk. He rear unit is an exchange as as some of the front ones although mine was an outright purchase. There is a difference between knowing your sh!t and knowing you're sh!t
