2004 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

2010+ Headlight Discoloration?

Hey, has anyone ever had this happen to their 2010+ headlights? If so was and is it highly noticeable (This is a picture of the headlight unfitted, but when fitted to a vehicle, are those discoloration spots noticeable?) Also is there a way of getting rid of these marks on the headlight?

Well your Stealer is going to say "out of warranty nothing I can do" but I would say that is unacceptable . There are threads on here where people split the head light to paint it but you probably don't want to go down that line , it looks to me like the paint is too thin at those points.
edit ; I see yours is a 2004 cat so are you doing a face lift? 2008 MY Supercharged

2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

I've seen this on pre 2010MY headlights and can only assume this happens due to the heat discharge from the xenons. Not much you can do about it other than argue the toss with your dealer. Discovery 4 HSE

Hey Axle, yeah I'm doing a 2010 Facelift Conversion and this headlight is the one which I find reasonably priced, along with it's pair who both have that foginess on the glass located near the part where the headlight meets the grill (like shown in the pic). So I'm contemplating either dropping it, or buying it and finding a cure. My hopes are that the discoloration is not as noticeable as it is in the photo relative to when I fix them onto the vehicle. Yeah I'm not expecting anything from warranty.
