I think it was comports who had a go with one of these aftermarket units and couldn't get it working / wired up.

How did you get yours all connected up Scottyav? .

Got it from powerful uk was 625 off them. Having fitted car audio for ages found it easy to install the only wire change was the illumination needs to be re wired as it needs to light up the buttons and on the aftermarket the plug pin wasn't connected. They even made a video of installation on YouTube as a guidance if people were stuck _____________________________________________________

So you have an HSE which started life with the MID type front end unit?

(Here is the video)

Those of us with the SatNav (all Vogues and some HSEs) can't fit these units (they don't integrate), although comports did try Smile .

Mine is hse but there was a chap doing rewires on the vogue to use them but he has gone quiet since last year _____________________________________________________

I've got a source for mk4 BMW nav and BMW digital tv boxes
Sons just bought some for his 4.4 plug and play not cheap but works out the box Growing old is compulsory Growing up is optional
