Freelander isn't luxury enough (and I have a sports car already Very Happy ).

The Toerag is rather good. If it had a split rear tailgate, it would be a good option.

I'm rather attached to the dog.

As one of my shooting mates' wife said the other day about her husband's love of their gundog - "if it could cook and wear stockings, I'd be out on my ear".

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Bournville

It's width and depth are good it's just the hight that has been reduced causing the loss of space, this early Clarkson article shows the problem quite well:

I sat in one of these at a motor show once.
Remember that it was fully loaded, reasonably luxurious , choice of engines...
Couldn't say about rear room etc
Certainly 'different' Wink

(I'd still go for a late 322 AB though Thumbs Up ) Alcohol and eBay is never a good mix

One of the last L322's has got to be the way to go, you already know it does exactly what you want it to, it's a no brainer Thumbs Up

So many choices

It is a hard one to decide which car. I had a Mercedes GL the boot space is great! I now have the L405 the boot space is 1" shorter than the Merc but 1" wider, however the L405 slope on the rear hatch does loose a lot of space compared with the GL its rear hatch is more upright. Or what about a trailer built to carry your dog and keep your guns in the rear of the car?

The rear height goes with all the other bits that make the 405 too much style and not enough substance. Lets hope that Bentley produce something good. letters not necessarily in the right order

The Bentley will be a ghastly trinket for the Chinese (so some similarities with the L405), you'd be laughed off a shoot in one. Dog carrying capacity won't be an important criteria for markets where they prefer to buy them pre-sliced.
