Nice story Stan. particularly impressed with fuel consumption. I thought I was doing well with my 4.4 BMW FF @ 24.5 on a steady 70mph motorway run. I'm encouraged, as on the shopping list for Spring is an SC - the head says TDV8 but the heart says SC! |

thanks Mike , on motorways in particular i try to always keep a good safe space between me and the car in front so that i dont have to brake or accelerate harshly so this looks like its paid dividends in the mpg.. ... - .- -.

My SC went to Warsaw and averaged 20mpg - and that included a lot of 120mph+ stretches Land Rover Addict

my wife suggested poland next year for the xmas markets but i dont think i would consider a trip that long..
