This is no laughing matter to anyone who likes Range Rover's and does not think of themselves as an idiot. IT is now official that Alan Partridge's dream car is... A Full Fat Range Rover, not only that, but without spoiling the plot of Alpha Pappa for those who have not seen it, his dream comes true at the end of the film. The closing shot is of him in his pride and joy...

He test drives a RRSS in his last mini-series he did.

Remember his Gareth Cheeseman character - that killed the Ford Probe.

Let's hope the same thing doesn't happen to the RR - although even being generous to the Ford Probe it was never a good car.

OMG as the youngsters say. TBF (continuing the yoof theme) AP's creator is a proper car nut so perhaps its some kind of ironic statement....... Partridge is just like the rest of us, and aspires to quality.

I've met loads of people who have AP tendencies; they all admire the motor and then go on to say they'd love one but couldn't cope with the fuel consumption!
