Rear wiper blade not cleaning properly, so thought I'd change it, as I had some 20" ones knocking about fitted that. Works fine nothing catches.

My question is as its longer 20" versus 16"will it put a strain on the motor. If so ill just cut the new blade to fit the old wiper.

The wiper motor is not going to notice the difference. If it packs in, it would have done so with a 3"blade as well.

In contrast, in Trev's application where the difference between 3" and 20" could be considered more than substantial
