For those with non xenon dipped beam headlights and for all full/ main beam, what about these as an upgrade bulb?

Same bulb here I think but a fair bit cheaper at £13-55 delivered.

Thanks to excellent research and assistance from Stan and Prop, so far, here is the progress made on ordering simple plug and play upgrade bulbs that should hopefully compliment the original and existing LR xenon headlight bulb and that should require no wiring, resistors and which should cause no damage or offer no errors:

Hope you don't mind me piggy backing on this thread but I've searched and don't seem to be able to find the answer, has anyone come up with a replacement led for the h11 fog lamp figment on a 2011 vogue which gives no bulb failure warnings and a nice white light? Agueroooooooooo. 93-20

Pfaaz, your easiest and cheapest option is to fit something like these to replace your standard H11 halogen bulbs with the brighter and whiter halogens as below.

Stan, not sure the bulb you have linked to will give anywhere near the same light output as a 55watt halogen bulb.

pld118, all sounds good then. Just seems odd that the spec states operating voltage of 9volts to 32volts. This would leave me to believe it switches to full brightness with the voltage at anything between these ranges. So my concern would be what happens when you feed it 6volts for instance. does it flicker or anything and then just light up immediately to full brightness bypassing the soft start etc of the halogen.

The more I think about it and having seen previous observations on the forum about LED indicator bulbs, not too sure about proceeding with an LED indicator bulb upgrade on basis that thoughts seem to be that standard indicator bulbs are bright enough and from a safety perspective perhaps then they should not be meddled with.

I do know they start up and turn of slowly... So I am guessing that means the voltage will be ramped up from about 6volts to 12volts over this period. But if the seller is stating they will work correctly... "
