Had a look around the forum but still not sure whats going on, 07 TDV8 Vogue, large amount of smoke coming from the passenger side 2 to 3 minutes after start up and really noticeable when stopping at lights, junctions. Guess its the Pre-Heater but whats causing the smoke? un-burt fuel?

As above, normal at this time of year. It has been sitting idle all year and will need a few cycles to clean itself out.

a better way to purge it is to used the timed climate for 20mins before you want to use the car to fully get the unit up to temp and burn the deposits off FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

there is nothing more satisfying than getting into a warm car at this time of year when it is damp and cold on a morning, I use my heater all the time. the remote control is the best thing, sat in the house with a warm coffee, press the button and bobs yer uncle, on she goes, blowing smelly diesel fumes all over next doors car while they are trying to scrape the ice off the windows... Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
