Tdv8 (07) vibration at low rpm(D engaged) and ca 2200 rpm

Hi

Vogue tdv8 2007 with 100k miles on the clock,
I have all the time following symptoms
1) hot or cold at low rpm(1100 rpm) at each gear vibration
2)hot or cold at ~2000-2200 rpm at each gear justnbeforengear change position (automatic mode)high freq vibration feel in fool area and throtle pedal, vanished above mentionede rpm, more noticable during hard acceleration

Tc changed to new
Brakes and pads and calippers changed
Oils changed (all) gearbox two times

During "free wheels" testing where car is lifted only some sloght noise from rear diff( no vibration at all)

So is only noticable when car is under natural cirucumstances

No get worse during turning or reversing

No grunding juddering ,

What to check next?

Big Cry nobody ? no ideas?

Today I lifted car one more to check automatic gearbox oil level all seems to be fine..

I also strat D with free wheels .. no vibration at all in mentioned rpm so its RPM & load related

assuming that its not (rather) propshaft, axles, cvjoints, or all bearings which are usualy speed related

no faults in ECU

please share your knowledge...

what size wheels do have fitted?

Also in a A&B above you do not mention if you are stationary or moving?

Have you checked engine mounts?

19 oem with new Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta balanced with stadard(no extraordinary LR) procedure?

Maybe its important .. before I changed TC I updated gearbox software to newest one... what coused that vibration at low rpm appeared... so now I get nicely changing gear (no slipping etc) with vibration at 1100 (each gear but mostly at first 2 gears) and 2200 (its usual postion when gears are switching to higher one)

at low speed vibration exists also when I take off foot from acc pedal (i.e. slowing down with enigne rpm)

and its make me crazy Censored

by the way.. is it any special method to check engine air mountings? Some weeks ago LR authorised dealer checked it only with diagnostic software and informed me that pressure is ok and visualy too?

according to my knowladge that guys in LR official services is a "changing specialists" not "House M.D" diagnositc masters.... Neutral

Can you reset the gearbox to the original software setting?

Scotland

Is there any noise or just vibration? Could it be something loose? Mount, exhaust, etc.
I take it the gearbox works as it should? Previously..

probably ... I asked guys from another LR service they informed me that back to manufacturing soft is possible (of course with some extra charges Censored ) what is funny when you want to upgrade soft in Mercedes Benz AMG E63 (cost similar to new rangy) it cost you smth about 50 pounds(in Poland) LR price the same service for 100 pounds... crazy!!!!

but vibration at 2200 rpm "was& is" no matter new or old gearbox soft....

answering another question... at low rpm no additional sound or noises .. in 2200 rpm engine is louder however no noises like some parts touching another only engine.....

In stationary all is perfect no noises no vibration no matter how rpm is

Enigne mountings had been checked by LR ... but if you have some special "in house" method to check it i will do it for sure (I dont trust LR official service guys in Poland too much)

OK we can thankfully rule out any Engine problem then Thumbs Up

That leaves:

A) Torque Converter

B) Gearbox

C) Drive-line including Prop-shaft/Diffs/Transfer-box etc

A&B being the most likely. You may wish to try a full Gearbox Flush.

ad A) changed to new one one months ago(original ZF i.e not remanufactured etc) cost me about 600 punds with work of mechnics , of course full oil change (9,3 liter) and new filter with cover

ad B) hmm thats sound scary however no faults on ECU connected with GB and no vibration with free wheels lifted car driving even using a stethoscope touched to gearbox

ad C) yes.. however as I said... during "free wheels" driving with lifted car no vibration sounds noises etc.. only during normal ride condition, also manual checks with refer to clearances had not reveal any potantial causes of vibration.

According to ad B changing oils does not make any sense

I'm starting to lean towards injectors/fuel related issues. Even though no faults are logged related to the injectors, maybe one or two are not doing exactly what they need to.

When was the fuel filter changed last ?

Can you get good quality fuel system cleaner and run it throught ?

Can you get "good clean" diesel ?

Has you EGR been cleaned ever ? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Sounds like an injector fault to me, normally will show up on diagnostic tool, however you can get a garage to do a leak off test to confirm.

Even though not present at idle it may show up higher
In the rev range. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
