Maybe I'm being paranoid? (suspension drop)

How far should my FFRR drop on it's suspension when parked for a long time?
I went to Poland recently for 10 days and left the car in the air port car park. When I returned to it, it had dropped about 3cm all round on it's suspension. When I started it, it quickly raised up to the correct height.
Is this normal? 2006 FFRR 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

To me this is not unexpected. No hydraulic and pneumatic system is 100% leak tight unless they are very expensive systems. However considering the age of your car, it may be that the airbags (if they haven't been replaced since the car was built) start to leak, small hairline cracks in the rubber due to age and use.

I suggest to raise it to offroad height and listen and look in the wheel arches. Suggest to do it in a very quiet place to be able to hear air hissing (with the described lowering the leak will be very small, so unlikely that you hear anything). Next spray the bags with soapy water and look for bubbles.

The cracks are likely to stay invisible even at offroad height. On mine you could only see them with the struts removed and the bag fully extended. The folds where the cracks are normally remain invisible. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

All 06>MY FF's drop over time when left... It is absolutely normal and as you said "it raised up immediately" so there is air left in it over time so not leaking... Don't give it a second thought Thumbs Up

It was back up to the proper height in about 5 seconds. Back first, then front. 2006 FFRR 4.2 Supercharged Vogue SE

It does back first then front so that if the headlights are on it doesn't dazzle oncoming traffic. When you lower it, it's the opposite.
