As an ex-TVR owner (OK, many years ago) my only tip is that you have an amazingly comprehensive warranty, and a 24/7 recovery service that will come out as many times as you need, to any location including the main agent forecourt.

I've got a hankering for a Cerbera. I was thinking of adding a classic car to my collection but thought a Cerbera would be just as much trouble and a lot more fun. Anyway, it won't be this year, and probably not next year, by which time I'll probably have gone cold on the idea. I'm well aware of the problems with them, but it won't be an everyday car I have to rely on, or even an all season car.

My Chim 500 has been far more reliable than the RR, I've had it 2 years and never had too much bother, the ff however |

Have always loved the idea of having a TVR and the Chimera's I have seen on the road look and sound awesome, well i definitely couldn't afford to buy or run one especially after my last purchase ( My Dream Car ) and the work I am having done to that as we speak but I have to say I just love the sound and the looks of most TVR's

I think for the Cerbera it's best to wait a year or two when more of them have had a chassis out refurb. Either that or get a cheap one and do it yourself. Just be aware it needs doing at some stage on all of 'em. |
