That looks fantastic I'd also colour code the chrome mirror tops to match the vents, which look 100% better than std factory - well done! 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

I hate those covers but can't seem to get em off. I will try harder as there is some remedial work needs doing on the upper tailgate lower edge (paint bubbling) and I can get them painted then. The cost of spraying bits I have removed and prepped is pretty incremental so only the bonnet was on the car when I took it in everything else was in the boot. I asked him to spray the door handles in situ, but he said I would need to take off and refit - didn't have time or inclination, also with door handle off how would I get in and out Confused Geoff

Looks good Geoff!! Thumbs Up

Hope the reason for repainting the bonnet is not that it came off on the highway as well... Laughing Mike.

Re: Spraying should be done this week

I can highly recommend Wheelrite.co.uk (Chorley, Lancs) for alloy refurbs, whether it's alloy face 'only' or full tyres off/ better than when they left the factory refurb.

Superb, professional outfit. Their work is not only reasonably priced but will also stand the rigours of time.

The owner is called Steve and is a top man.

Have used Wheelrite over 2 years/ never been disappointed

Thumbs Up
