... just come from a company, special for plastic products. They will make 150 pieces for me in top quality, they will cost round 10 Euro per piece, I have so much questions about this nut also here in germany and belgium, that I have decided to produce them (of course cheaper than handmade...). If ready, I will send pictures in all Range Rover Forums.

Better is hard PVC, because each nut of metal destroyes the spindle, tested it last year. Original is hard PVC, and it is good for 6-7 years... L405 SDV8 2017 + Lancia Flavia Coupe 1964 + RRS L494 3.0 SDV6 + C220CDI Convertible 2021

The guy I spoke to said the spindle is badly made and the peak of each thread goes hard causing this problem, his solution was to run a dye down to get the thread as it should be, he did this and said his column had never been so quiet, im more than happy to go with your solution though if you feel its better, any idea on timescale and are there 2 of these nuts on every column? 1 for reach and 1 for tilt? If so Ill take 2 One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
