2008 FFRR Lamp Guard Removal

Hi all

Am still thinking about coming back to the FFRR world and have a question, if i bought a 2008 year FFRR with lamp guards fitted can i take them off without leaving drilled holes in the body? I recall my 2003 being drilled to the car but dont think they are on the 2007 MY up?

Is it necessary to remove the front lights to remove those? Back ones are ok, mainly thinking of the fronts?

Thanks

Carl

Front
Yes they will leave the rivnuts in the wings x2 and rivnuts in the grille x2 you should not need to remove the headlights but posibly the grille if the rivnut spins

Rear wont leave any holes if removed but you posibly will get a kind of paint rub on the sides that is noticeable but faint onto no6 Range Rover

Oh, i thought the fronts were secured behind the light on some sort of bracket that would come free if the lamp is removed?

It does look like a hole will be left in the grille but i guess this could be changed anyway.[/img]

Yip, 2 holes in each wing and 2 holes at each side of the grill!

No need to remove the headlights, but you do need to remove the rears to get the bracket off. Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey
