I'd imagine an A8 would be crap compared to an FF.

Meant just as a general rule of thumb with regards to roadholding and such not really against the likes of a FF tho … Worded the OP wrongly ![]() "Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy |

Oh yes, of course. No competition. I'm more interested to know that it retains some modicum of grip and controllability on snowy or icy roads. If we get 2' I'll be out in the D3... Graham

it is excellent in the snow - once again tyres are key - i used to have a a8 quattro sport 3.0 and when almost most cars with stuck in the snow - country gridlocked with accidents - I travelled from wales to scotland - it took me 17 hours non stop driving but my a8 got me from a to b no problem at all -

Audi is the only German carmaker who comes close to RR performance on snow. And the A8 is good on snow. I have driven a 580bhp Audi RS6 on snow and when gently with the trottle it's very, very good on snow as long as you don't leave the paved road. |

Yeah, my S4 was quite interesting last winter. Compared to my BMW, almost anything is better... Graham

Beemers and Mercs' are rubbish on snow. Hard to understand when you know that Munich and Stuttgart have snow every year. |
