Drinks holder

Hi has anyone ever replace the drinks holder in the centre console (the pop up and out one) ?
Mine is broken and I was wondering if it's easy to remove and how much for a new one ?

I've spotted them on fleabay & seen the video on Powerful UK to remove the holder.
Doesn't look too complicated mate.

15min job... pull off the gear lever, pull up the gear panel and unplug the electrics then undo the 6-8 torx screws that hold the black plastic surround panel onto the centre consul... Turn it upside down and unscrew the cup holder...

Refit is the opposite...

I think there is a non cup-holder storage option which is much cheaper....

Yep, very stiff price for a nice gadget that can easily be replaced by other less expensive gadgets doing the same trick Smile

Have you look at yours in detail to see if you can fix it ??? Maybe some little spring somewhere in the mechanism that needs replacement ??? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
