VMPP is right, LTB00095 (search it there are other threads here)- also check as the definition of the LTB give an applicable VIN range.

It is technically chargeable but the bear in mind that success is linked to the memory of the Nokia unit (FPGA) and if the unit does not take the upgrade it can be argued that it is therefore defective.

As above... smooooth talk your dealer and if they wont help you out, name and shame and then go elsewhere!

It may also be helpful to check the BT compatibility with iPhone and your VIN number on the LR site, then emphasise that the upgrade should be applied FOC to cure BT/Pairing issues for iPhone and then crank the charm to 11 because...

The Phonebook over Bluetooth feature is basically a tick box affair DURING the upgrade, (as before search LTB00095 you will find the complete method) so surely as your friendly dealer is going to ALL that trouble to perform the upgrade one extra little step shouldn't challenge their esteemed technical staff too much

I got the upgrade for £58.96 :sigh: and the iPhone 3GS works with the car and shows phonebook.

Odd that you need to go to messages then come out then it shows the phonebook but before that the button is greyed out.

Might be worth trying for those that have connectivity but no phonebook access.

Tell them you have had issues in the last couple of weeks with a friends phone that you borrowed as well so sounds like the bluetooth module is on the way out....

My 3GS I Phone works fine with my FFSC 07MY......

On my 06 RRS SC athough it does work I have to search for it everytime I enter the car!!  If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all.

I can't have a parrot either because of the HK system, no mute facility.
