48 mph over 20k miles at 24-25mpg in my just sold 3.6 TDV8.

18 mph - i am driving only in the city...... and i get 9mpg...... fantastic isn't it ? All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

That surprises me...I thought you would average over 70mph and return 4mpg based on your driving style and previous motors! Current MY2020 Gone: 1 x L405 and 2 x L322's |

Bit late in this morning so less traffic. Averaged 70MPH over 45 miles and 28.5MPG. The 4.4 TDV8 with the 8 speed gearbox really is an excellent unit. MY23 D350 HSE

I think you find that all the averages (speed/mpg) are done over a rolling 1000km or 621miles ..... so it's not the life of your vehicle. Land Rover Addict

Mines about 29 mph. Dont get over 60 mph much due also to speed cameras

No, it's based on starting from the last time you reset the counters. It can be based on the life of the vehice if you never reset them or just the last journey if you reset them before you set off No longer FF owner but still interested. It's not the life of the vehicle. It's based on a sample. If you've ever had the mpg display on constantly you'll see it jump back/forward in huge chunks as the sample changes. The vehicle can't track the mpg over the mileage of the car - it would run out of the limited RAM the simple computer that works it out has!
