2002 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Stornoway Grey
New Member - 2010 Conversion.

Hi Guys, always used this forum as a source of Information, but only just Joined, certainly the best RR forum.

**Pics to follow tomorrow**

Bought My other half a 2003 Range Rover Vogue about 12 months ago. Bonatti Grey, Cream Leather 4.4 Vogue with 81k on the clock. Totally standard car in very good condition, nice little upgrade from her Clio Razz

Currently about to convert it to 2010 Exterior. Keeping all upgrades to genuine parts as its a very tidy original car, and i want to keep it nice.

So far I've purchased a brand new set of wheels + Continental tires, purchased them from ebay but the link below shows what type they are.

http://www.4x4tyres.co.uk/rover-06/20inch-...-1771.html

Also Purchased Titanium Silver Tailgate and Bonnet Lettering from Powerful UK. Ive also bought the Vogue SE badge from them but I'm undecided if I'm going to use the 'SE' part yet. Ordered some Matt Black VHT spray for the backbox (something which i hate looking at when following another Range Rover).

Im not planning on fitting any of the upgrade parts until the 2010 facelift has been carried out.

Ill add some pictures of the car tomorrow, in its standard form. Its getting collected from Land Rover in Doncaster after having the Front Diff upgrade fitted after it failed recently (it was carried out free of charge) even though the service action has now ended after i composed a carefully worded email to Land Rover UK. Somehow it missed the recall, apparently its unheard of for it to last 80k.

My own car is a 2004 Bentley Continental GT, i like the car but love driving the RR to be honest. I only got rid of my own RR 2002 4.4 about 6 months before buying another. I had done the 2006- Conversion on mine.

Any help and advise much appreciated. Smile

Haven't decided yet, you are quite far from me though.

Would you allow me to supply some of the parts?

Please either PM me your contact phone number or contact me through the phone numbers on the website...

We convert cars from all over the country... Most would rather travel and have us do the job (with our reputation)

Pics as promised. Thinking also of having the wood grain parts done in piano black? not sure if it will work with the blue upper dash.

Booked in with Clarkes Premier Bespoke in Peterborough on Wednesday, Wanted to take it to Craigs but its just so damn far from me unfortunately.
Also booked in for Tints on Saturday.

Couple of Questions if people can help.

What is the % Level of tint on the back windows from Factory on the 2010 models with factory dark tints?

Also How hard are the front arch liners to fit afterwards?

Going to fit the wheels after i get it back and fit new discs and pads.

You won't go too far wrong - Lee Clark is good at this too - he's done a couple for me - one to '06 with an Overfinch Aero 2 kit and another to '10 Thumbs Up

He also did all my interior wood to piano too - was a great job

Took it down this afternoon and waited in Peterborough until it was finished, looks amazing, really pleased with the work Lee did. Pics to follow tomorrow, need to put the titan silver lettering on this weekend.
