B pillar black finisher

Can anyone tell me how to remove the satin black finisher panel from the B-pillar please? The finish has bubbled up andf I want to rub it down and respray it which is much easier off the car. I've searched around and can't find the answer and I'd rather not do my usual trick of bending/breaking everything I touch!

Are the B pillars not actually the window surrounds ?

I've got my front one to do, as it is bubbling up around thw window ;

Think the side bit is the same trim, and I understand you access it by taking the door card off, and the door window seal from the inside, to reveal screws for it..............?

I have the same appearance but on the vertical bit in the picture. I decided to leave it in place and rubbed it down with1200 grit wet and dry, then sprayed it with satin black. Looks perfect again! Cool

I'm wondering whether that might be easier with mine to be honest.

Not sure how much the new trim would be, but I'm guessing it ain't gonna be cheap......... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

I found an example of the trim in various places - only £20 but to be honest, although the finish of the satin spray isn't as smooth as the original, it does refresh the appearance of the panel, and is a good value for money bit of maintenance.

As the little black strip at the bottom of the window seems to be about £30 odd, I didn't even ask how much for the window surround.

Are there some on the net ?

Not done an exhaustive seach........

£20 doesn't seem bad...... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Not done it, but I believe its screwed on from behind, ie you have to remove the door card and seal to get to the screws ........... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
