Why are you all being personally offensive to someone who has obviously tried to give a polite technical answer in his second language? While I don't agree that it's the best thing you want to hear, or indeed it's 100% correct, I don't think it's fair to attack him personally for it.

@meerbusch Appologys if any offence caused. Not meant in that mannor. The question about Wabco was a genuine one as you seem to have alot of knowledge about the system and it's design. They seem very tight lipped with info when I contacted them about the compressor pistonrings.

@allseeingpie wasn't a personal attack. Thought the smiley at the end gave that away. Will make any jokes/sarcasm more obvious. Happy? Rolling with laughter That was sarcasm! Whistle Laughing [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Having read this post through I think you may be doing Meerbusch a bit of a dis-service.
I think he is a bit closer to the mark than some of you may wish to believe.
The purpose of the suspension is to maintain the car level relative to the surface it is sitting on whichever of the settings it happens to be in.
It is not intended to keep the car level at all times ie driving up or down a hill Smile, or on a sloping driveway.
If your car settles overnight on a sloping driveway (front to rear slope) such that it pumps itself level in the morning, it strikes me you have a small leak on the system. Much as Meebusch indicates.
If you car is parked on un-even ground the car suspension will adjust to the optimum level for the 4 wheels to maintain body height relative to the wheels but if your car is parked on sloping un-even ground the car will still be on a slope.
The traffic light situation could also be attributed to a small system leak insofar as the car braking could cause a pressure increase in the front air bags, which if they have a small leak could increase the rate of leakage until the increased load is taken off the bags in which case when the car came to a standstill the bags would need blowing up to height again.
I probably haven't got all this correct but you may wish to think about it and reply as necessary.
Suffice to say, my non too special car has never performed any of the above described suspension antics (yet) and if it did it's likely I would be out with the soap solution bottle.
I certainly wouldn't consider it normal.

Discuss Very Happy

my 2pence worth,

mine does the same , sometimes after hard braking , sometimes it just does it...i'm pretty certain i have no leaks as the suspension works without a hitch.

the comments made by hoppy and rob are pretty tame compared with some comments on the forum and to me are non offensive .

meerbusch probably does know what he's talking about as he specialises in repairing the compressors as commented in previous posts where he has tried to sell his services.. ... - .- -.

No leaks in mine either having tested extensively at standard and off road height. I just put the behaviour down to the vagaries of the system as it adjusts itself to suit conditions, especially after automatically changing heights (motorway to standard). Meerbusch does have a good point though Smile .

To the OP.

Completely normal.

The car was level.

You got in, drivers side corner went down.

Car then self leveled, and from your POV front of the car went up.

How much depends on how much of a fat b*st*rd you are.

Mine ALOT.

Germany 2017 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Carpathian Grey

Wink) no problem, I am not unhappy about the special posts to my person, it is normal..., but believe me: here in germany the Range Rover is a car which is not often to see, in GB there are the Range Rovers like at us the Mercedes ML. Therefore the german official dealers press out the customers like citrons..., and I work since 35 years with cars, BMW, Mercedes and since 14 years I only drive Range Rover, because it is the best car ever, and especially the LM has a good technic to repair. But now the official dealers begin to work with my parts, because the customers, who have RR about 6 years old, have not enough money for repairs like new keys for 230,-Euros, or gearboxes for 7.500,-Euros, or compressors for 800,-Euros, or steering-colums for 2.000,-Euros only because of a small broken part, which I construct in a little serie, or with problem of the empty batterie, and, and, and..., and to the complex thema EAS, it is so easy..., WABCO doesn´t give ANY information to the dealership, therefore I bought with the help of company Mercedes-Benz about 100 new compressors without the electro-motor, and why it is so bad, that I want to earn a little money, and HELP the other drivers with a repair for good price...?

Many regards from germany, Meerbusch
