Drivers electric windows controls Help!!

Hi Guys

Today went to put down the drivers window and guess what nothing happens also with the rear windows and the passenger one as well, the other windows except the drivers can go down when operated from each different door. The mirrors also do not fold in or out and cannot adjust them but they will move when engaging reverse.......

Have changed fuses still stays the same anyone got any ideas ???????????? Currently run a P38 yes i know I am mad but it helps and a 6.75 Bentley Turbo S and Now have a 2004 4.4 V8 vogue FFRR Very Happy can life get any better......

Sounds like an electric cable issue of the cables going into the door maybe. I would say some or all of the cables could be damaged or maybe a plug was pulled clear. Also check earthing of the door to the rest (squirt liberal amounts of WD 40 or like on the hinges and move them back and forth a few times, also clean and lightly lubricate the doorlock assembly). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

If the individual door controls work...I would think it is not the door wiring, or motors or fuses....I suggest looking at the Drivers door switch pack....

First job is to take it off and check it over to be certain this is the problem. A fault code diagnosis may help also.

this happened to me and its the wiring in the plug that goes into the driver's door. You need to remove the plug then it comes apart and you will prob find a couple of the very small pins either corroded of snapped. If they are snapped you will have to cut the said wires and solder them together.hope this helps, any prob's, give me a shout

Thanks for the offer...

A quick call to the indie garage I use and the problem solved.... it was the drivers switch module at fault and 30 mins later new one fitted at a very very reasonable price and if any one lives around my way i would highly highly recommend them as well if you are local then PM me and will give you the garage name as not sure on the naming side on this forum Whistle Currently run a P38 yes i know I am mad but it helps and a 6.75 Bentley Turbo S and Now have a 2004 4.4 V8 vogue FFRR Very Happy can life get any better......
