Check engine light - bulb check

Neither my check engine light or the Oil Service Inspection light illuminate when the key is in the on position.

Does anyone else get this? I am wondering what the best way to cause a check engine light to come on, to test it. I have a 2003 TD6

Thanks

Jack

I have done the self check and that shows OK. Maybe I will just ignore the light not coming on.

A common thing for unscrupulous sellers to do is to blank off the engine management light with some black tape and card. Sad Sad
