Maybe if you did wear them you would have only cut down 8 trees instead of 12 when you built your garage Laughing Laughing

And the irony?

Had a RR dealership asked for the same amount, it would have warranted a full stewards enquiry and technical breakdown! Researching my first Range Rover purchase

£4.50 off the shelf in Tesco.

My daughter is an optometrist with specsavers and told me to go to Tesco.

Shouldn't have posted yesterday.

Went for a company eye test, as I retire at the end of the month, only to be told I am just legal for driving, I need stronger reading glasses and my mid field vision is also poor.

Looks like it will have to be a pair of varifocals.

IanV8 - I have tried varifocals and personally found them tiring when driving because the field of vision is V shaped (resonable width at the top for distance vision, but very narrow at the bottom for looking at your dashbaord/ sat nav). So after lots of arguing at Specsavers I went for bifocals (distance and mid - the reading distance for me is too close to be of use in the car) with the smallest/narrowest possible bi-focal element at the bottom of the glasses - the result is fantastic for driving with wide distance focus achieved by just moving your eyes not your head and the same for dashboard/ sat nav screen (compared to varifocals that I had previously). Hope this helps.
