What does this goal mean for Chelsea, that they stay in the CL and make more money on advertising etc. (sorry not a football fan, love field hockey much nicer to watch and play). These days it is all about how much a team can generate in revenue that determines the value of players. It could well be that this one goal (plus whatever else he does) could allow Chelsea to generate millions in revenue, sale of shirts, sponsor deals etc.

Massive flop! Being a Liverpool supporter when he left I was gutted! The way he went about his transfer and the build up to it leaves a bad memory, from being a potential ledgend in the making to a zero in our eyes is very sad. When he left to join the chav's I hoped he would fail and flop, but I never imagined he would fail so badly. Now his goal last night was taken very well and he did well to hold his nerve, and I'm sure the supporters will always remember the game and his goal I don't think it makes up for his £50mil underperformance. I'm looking forwards to the final when they meet Jose and the galactico's and walks away with a losers medal and has a bit part in the drogba show who I think is one of the best in the business (minus his diving).
