2010 LED Install Guide

Ok Here’s my install pics from installing my LED rear lights

I sourced the grommets for the lights to fit into direct from LR part number LR000081 they costed about 22p each

The install isn’t for the faint hearted as u have to remove the old lights and mounting brackets inside as per these pics

Once the old brackets are remove (I twist them off with a pair of pliars) ur then left with the working area to start prepping for drilling the 7mm holes for the new grommets to be inserted
I run a couple of lines of masking tape inside the panel and worked out where the light would sit and pushed firmly on the light creating a imprint in the tape, a couple of things to allow for is the contour of the light to the body and the lines lining up, I used my iphone flat surface to ensure they were lined up with the side of the car if that makes sense, after I got my mark in the tape I centre punched the marks and drilles. I painted all disturbed areas with anti rust and a touch in pen to make good and also riverted and sealed the hold I made pulling one of the brackets out

One light in and fitted

I then repeated the above process for the other side, hope this info helps someone

Hope this helps someone, the wiring was idiot proof and as u see in the kit pics there was full coloured instruction crimper and crimps all supplied, i have no errors fog light issues or disco effects now the correction wiring boxes are installed

Thanks
Neil
