try putting a strip of tape along the edge where screen and plastic meets and fasten it down tight - if the noise goes away, then youve found your problem

you can try refitting or bodge a re-seal of it with some black silicone etc, but to be honest, it was �40 for a new one, so thats what I fitted and its been fine since

This is it ! Had the same issue.

I fixed the entire length of the rubber seal on the windshield with tape and then suddenly the noise has gone.
