coolant leak from back of engine (solved)

ive tried searching wiki to get a diagram of the coolant pipes at the back of the engine but with no joy..
basically when i went to get back in my car after going in the garrage i noticed a large puddle of water under my car coming from where the gearbox is bolted to the engine
im pretty sure its not my aircon as (sorry dan) i never use it and its always switched off plus ive been loosing a far bit of coolant.......ive striped the top engine cover off and had a look down the back but its difficult to see so any help would be appreciated Thumbs Up "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

Microcat online should help you to identify the part number.

Pret
That section of hose if I'm right comes from the rear coolant manifold and then head off towards the heater matrix. It's a tawt of a piece! I couldnt get mine off so ended up disconnecting it from the clip end. Where it joins the manifold was the largest leak I had. If you want me to track the part number let me know.

Good stuff. I couldn't get mine off the manifold until it was removed from the car. A good test for a leak is drive the car as normal. Lock it up as normal and in the morning open the bonnet and take the lid of the expansion tank. If you get a hiss your doing good as its holding pressure. If you don't it's loosing the pressure somewhere. Be it a leaking hose to the deaded HGF. [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]
