Interesting. My car doesn’t have one. Does yours? |

Second thoughts, this would not work, as JLR would need to keep operating the E-sim so that the remote app and emergency calling still worked.

That's how it works on an 'open' device, such as an iPhone, where the owner can install whatever e-SIM he/she wants. On 'closed' devices, you have to go through the manufacturer to install said e-SIM. The Apple watch is a good example of this. My money is on the fact that JLR isn't going to let people do whatever they want, but that's just me. |

I expect that JLR use the built-in eSIM to OTA services, and should be covered by JLR for the life of the vehicle. The SIM card slot would then be for the WiFi hotspot, I guess (as said, we don't have the SIM card slot in the L460 here locally) L460 P550e AB SWB MY24

Dixy , I went through that, as far as I remember they hadn’t figured out a way to charge, so it just continued… Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
