Or you can speak to a broker. On renewal of my existing insurance I asked NFU Mutual to indicate what insurance cost would be for two possible L460s. After some back and forth about spec and my circumstances I was told they could not provide cover at all. I tried Land Rover Insurance on the LR website re my existing car and they would not provide a quote. Maybe I could get cover somewhere, but at what price? So well worth checking insurance. There is also the point that if it is very difficult/expensive to get cover there is a strikingly adverse effect on residual values. Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

That's just unacceptable... and you reside in Edinburgh? London might not stand by chance. |

Even if I could get insurance at an acceptable level, I’d be concerned I wouldn’t be able to get it the following year and the more people who can’t insure them, the more they will depreciate.

Given your in London as others have said do as much research as possible regarding insurance it might be you cant get cover at all. PHEV seems to be more expensive to insure I know when I was looking for insurance I played with quotes for a diesel and it was substantially cheaper i expect due to the repair costs involved if the battery is damaged.
