I'm fairly certain that Grofus received my PM sent on the 24th July as it left the Out Message Box and moved to the Sent Box. Just disappointing that there's been no response but I accept there may be a valid reason for this.

Like you I won't be on the bread-line on losing £14.50 certainly as Chelmsford's LR Main Dealer has had nearly £3500 from me in the last year.

In my PM's I did suggest to Grofus he might like to consider giving me credit for my previous purchase as my bank records show he has clearly received the money. I told him that if he organised another group buy I would happily pay for tracked / signed for postage next time.

Perhaps noworries4x4's work contact might be able to identify the manufacturer so we can enquire if we can buy direct.

In an earlier post, Grofus mentioned having to pay Customs duty and the Post Office admin fee on the bulbs he had ordered so I suspect he may have sourced his in the Far East. Luckily, Bulgaria is in the EU and so is the UK for the time being! Peter Kemp

That's why I asked our teck guy to do it, he searches for things differently using code from behind websites, when every you walk into his den in our offices he has 10 monitors all linked bit like csi and a couple of engineers broken laptop or tablets stripped apart. He wont touch mobile repairs though he just throws it back and says cheaper to get a new one. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

Anyway, I have taken it up with An Pòst and am awaitng their response. I have a letter from them stating they are making enquiries.

Trust me when I say that this is really annoying for me too. The Irish members on here will not be surprised to hear of the postal issues. They are fkin useless.
Registered post is €9.50 which makes them expensive in my opinion and not a realistic option.

For that reason Im not getting any more.
Its just too much aggro and I make nothing on them.
Its a shame as folks that have them know how good they are.

I have to back Grofus up on the postal service over here. My first lot of bulbs took 2/3 weeks from Grofus and we are about 100 miles apart . 2015 4.4 AB

My bulbs turned up from Bulgaria yesterday and basically that was money straight down the drain, they are absolute crap, high quality cob chips they are not, wrong basses and cheap and nasty is an understatement.
I will keep searching and have another go. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough.

I think the postal problems are on the Irish side.

Glad you're all back safe and sound, as said to you previously I don't hold you responsible for a postal service losing the post! Shocking state of affairs that it is, that's down to them not you -- just the way the cookie crumbles.
