[SOLD] L405 Key - Brand New - £75

A long story - but I bought it for £132 + VAT from Dan - here and didn't end up using it.

Needs pairing with the car which I think is a dealer job





The long story -

I went swimming with the key in my pocket - I was driving a ski boat & hadn't planned to get in the water - but the conditions were so good I was tempted into surfing - so jumped in, forgetting the key was in the side pocket of my shorts Embarassed

I was in France & luckily had the spare with me anyway.

I fly back & forth through the summer, so I took the new key to France (where the car was) - thinking that as Dan had asked for the VIN, the key would just work - then I realised that it needs programming to the car - then I forgot about it.

When I got home I couldn't find the key

Then there was a lock recall on the L405's & the keys needed reprogramming to the car anyway, so I just bought another.

When I returned to France for Easter, I found the key in a drawer.

i might be mistaken re your key for the 2010 onwards Alistair , but its defo not for the 2006-2009 FF's.. Embarassed ... - .- -.

Hard to tell - different case, but the same buttons - so may be the same internals.....

Speak to Dan to find out if it is compatible.

Although physically smaller the electronics inside may work with a my11.5 after programmed. I assume an IID tool can program the car to it.
