Looks like Phil Mitchell has finally found the guy who sold him that 57 plate early ff and told him it was a facelift car

That's not as good as the 60 plate pre-facelift L322 in Fast and the Furious 6 |

Those plates don't relate to any car. I think most that you see on tv like that don't |

Aside from TV plates, you can also get ex-MOD vehicles with later plates on. ![]() Discovery 3 TDV6 Auto HSE Zambezi Silver ![]() |

How the feck did they get the standard system to do that! Most ff handbrakes couldn't do that I bet, especially on a pre facelift and when the tears lock up the fronts would start killing off speed very quick as part of the drivetrain. Remove and bolt up the front propshaft? Thus making it 2wd? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Surely you'd want to do the rear prop so as not to have to fight it as much although I get the feeling they probably used a hydraulic handbrake to get it to lock that hard and quick. FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

You may be right in that. I suspect the car was modded fairly extensively for the stunt, no doubt there would be a roll cage in there too as it was going upside down, so the fittment of an hydraulic handbrake would be logical, they don't play around when doing this kind of thing so £££ would have been spent to make sure the driver didn't get a scratch. You want RWD to send the rear end out. |

to flip it there was probably an air canon inside too..... just to make sure, as they would have only gotten one take i presume. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
