Topix & the word "LESS"

Hi all,

I have a deposit down on a 2010 Vogue. Naturally once I got the VIN i headed over to Topix to check out exactly what was on the car and to confirm build date etc matched.

There are quite a few things with "LESS" stuck in front of them. I'm assuming that this means that the car doesn't have them.

However - does this mean standard things that for some reason the owner has chosen to delete - or options that weren't added.

As examples:

LESS WARNING DISPLAYS
LESS RR SEAT SKI STOWAGE
LESS CARGO COMPARTMENT NET
LESS SPECIAL VALUE PACKAGES
LESS SECURITY PACK
LESS DVD SCREEN
LESS DVD PLAYER
LESS REAR SPLASH GUARDS
LESS PROXIMITY SENSOR

I'm obviously not fussed about the lack of DVD player as I doubt I'd ever use it - Ski tunnel is annoying but liveable with and no mud guards - well, I won;t be mud plugging regularly, but am concerned by the lack of Proximity Sensors! Does this mean the owner has de-specced the parking sensors somehow?!

Also I have no idea what "Warning displays" you could get rid of..

Any help from those much more knowledgeable than me?

i would have thought that 'less' was 'not having' but if that is the case then the proximity sensor exclusion is worrying unless it relates to something other than the PDC.... ... - .- -.

Perhaps the proximity thingies are the blind spot warning systems? Just a thought.

mine has these 'proximity sensor' and also 'parking aids' so they might not be related , or maybe they are... ... - .- -.

You need to register - after that the first thing you have in front of you is to put the vin in.

I have registered and put my VIN in. All I get after that is a picture of a L322 and the build date, warranty start date etc. No build sheet option... 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior

Interested in thoughts on the spec as well. Looks fairly basic but I have no idea what Premium Leather and Premium Audio means..
