Remote pairing FBH

I've PM'd a certain forum member on here twice regarding this but never got a reply, so I'm putting it out to everyone.

Can I pair a T91 remote to a T60 receiver? I read on here a while back that it is possible and has been done, but I've tried the usual pairing method and it doesn't work.

TIA

Have you tried pulling the fuse in the glove box ?

(I cant remember which 1 it is but I tried everything with mine and it would not pair with the motor until I pulled the correct fuse for 5 seconds and re inserted it, paired immediately but it is a T91 Webasto)

I do love the remote control heating and watching it defrost itself whilst every1 else scrapes away makes me happy Thumbs Up

I've unplugged and reconnected the receiver whilst pressing and holding the buttons. Same as removing the fuse

I did that and also the pulled the relay and it still wouldn't pair up, I was about to give up once and for all....

good luck with it, its well worth pursuing until you get it sorted

Anyone?

Trouble is, until I can do something with this, I'm not sure whether the remote is working, or whether the receiver is working. The fuse (59) is ok.

I've asked Steve but he doesn't know. Not sure about a Webasto forum though, I'll take a look.

There is a forum member on here who says he's paired a T91 to a T60 but I've PM'd him twice and replied to his post on here, but as yet no response.

Try taking the battery out of the remote for a few minutes and re-insert it just prior to trying the pairing process. Sometimes that can sort the problem.

Better still, replace the fob battery with a brand new one, when I tried to pair my remote (T91 bought off fleabay) with my webasto receiver, the lights on the fob blinked, but no joy pairing. Got a new battery (duracell I/3N, just a few quid off fleabay), installed it in the fob and hey presto, it paired first time.

You can download the user manual for the T91 fob off the Webasto website and it has info in it about checking the battery strength...pressing keys on the fob and getting blinking lights, etc. on the fob.
